I have been working on a new Night nappy, and have come up with something really funky!!
It's a side snapper, made from a sherpa inner, a hidden layer of Malden Mills Windpro fleece and an outer of patterned fleece. It utilises my ingenious double booster system - the bottom booster is made up of 2 layers of microfibre sandwiched between 2 layers of french terry hemp, and the top booster is 2 layers of microfibre sandwiched between a layer of french terry hemp and a layer of sherpa, so it's nice and soft against bub's butt but also really absorbent yet trimmer than my previous night nappies. Best of all, the water repellent windpro fleece not only means no wicking, but you don't need a cover!!
And because I have taken away the sewn in absorbency and lay in booster, and replaced these with my snap-together-snap-in booster (double booster system), the shell actually dries alot quicker than before (as with my AI2's of the same design!) so rather than having a large stock of nappies, it's more cost effective to stock up on BOOSTERS!!
Initial tests of these nappies have seen them last 12 - 14 hours overnight with NO LEAKS!! :D
Limited quantities will be available at my FIRST MAJOR STOCKING of 2010, towards the end of January!!
